Periodontitis, better known as pyorrhoea, causes a loss of bone support that, if not promptly intercepted and treated, leads to tooth mobility and even loss of the tooth itself.
Since it is asymptomatic (apart from in some cases when blood loss may occur), it is important to have periodic check-ups to remove all tartar deposits that have caused bone loss over time and to perform proper daily oral hygiene.
Periodontitis also affects young people and especially smokers. If it is not detected in time, one risks losing a tooth without any warning symptoms.

Nel primo caso si tratta di una fase intermedia di protesi fissa su denti naturali. In una sola seduta è stata sostituita una vecchia protesi con un provvisorio in resina migliore esteticamente, utilizzando una nuova tecnica che migliora lo stato delle gengive. Questa fase provvisoria precede la protesi fissa definitiva in ceramica.
Nel secondo caso il risultato del trattamento intermedio è un provvisorio prima della ricostruzione diretta in composito (“DOPO”). Una vera trasformazione del sorriso, dei denti e delle gengive prima della finalizzazione.
